Action RPG's

Hey, I would like to know the best Action RPG games you guys have played. The ones i played so far that i really enjoyed are

-Fable
-Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
-Jade Empire

I hear the witcher is good, so ill try that out, any other games beside the ones i mentioned and Oblivion? Oh and recent to, i hear fallout was great but i dont wanna play old games. Thanks

 

NWN2 is good

 

Diablo 2 hands down. I know its old but play it and love it.

 

If NWN2 (Never Winter Nights 2) enters in the category, then I recommend KOTOR 1 and 2 (Knights of the Old Republic).

 

yea the game looked great, but im not a fan of point and click movement, I like Action RPG's where you can use a gamepad controller to play ex. Jade empire, fable etc.

 

just off the top of my head

overlord, devil may cry 3, jade empire. and assassin's creed and devil may cry 4 are coming out in feb i think. there's one more action rpg i played recently but i cant remember its name, about some kind of ancient viking (?) king.

 

overlord sounds cool, how is the story? is it more of a funny game or serious?

 

definitely funny, a joke here and there. You can either be evil or very evil, and tell your minions to attack etc etc.

here's another two, Beowulf is the one i played recently, very very nice visual but the game is a bit linear.

and Prince of Persia might be a lil' old (the first one anyway), but it's definitely worth going through all three of them since the stories are related.

oops, when I said prince of persia I meant the more recent ones, i.e. from the sands of time onward.
