    No thanks. I'd rather pay cash for the game than be forced to watch ads.

    What's new? Ubisoft has been doing that for years!

    Oh...wait...they're doing it for their paid games :rolleyes:

    I usually never buy their titles, but I couldn't resist the Steam summer sale and bought Anno 2070. Other than the fact that I couldn't get the game to run for a month due to their DRM malfunctioning, I get ads all over the place when I open and close the game, like it was some sort of a free iOS game.

    Awful, awful company. One of the worst there is, in the computer business and out of.

    I could see this working well for certain franchises like call of duty that are meant to be played in bursts where breaking the immersion isn't a factor. It would be a little odd getting commercial breaks in final fantasy.

    EA does the same thing...But they still make you pay for the games. I remember need for speed. having to go to best buy to get car stuff or getting sms messages on my "Cingular" phone.
