    hey guys,

got another question to ask. Which would help more in gaming , ie have more frame rates, faster loading time...etc

1: To have 2 x512Ram running on dual channel or

2: To have even more ram like 1x512 and another 1x1024 hence giving it a total of 1.5Gb?

Oh, and, how much difference does a 7.200rpm drive have over a 5.400 overall? and if it is significant, how does it affect battery? Would it be noisy?

    Thanx 4 ya help.

If you do not have the exact same memory modules in both slots you will not utilize Dual Channel acrhitecture. Now, I am not sure if your laptop has this feature, but it is something to think about. Also, I would be curious to see framerates with dual channel and without to see how much benefit it really gives.

The faster HDD will help with game load times, but it won't play any faster. It will run warmer in general but won't have a material impact on battery life.
