I was wondering if there is a way to control the fan speed when it gets to a certain temperature on my ATI Radeon 4870.

Under the Catalyst Control Center, under AMD Overdrive, I can enable the fans for manual (and then make then between 20-100 fan speed), but having to adjust that every time is kind of annoying.

Right now, the fan is on automatic, with a fan speed of 23%, 0% Activity on my GPU, and a 79°C temp.

Any way to edit it so the fan speed keeps the GPU temp at around 60°-70° idle, and about the same under load, or even lower?

I know I can setup profiles with HWINFO when it is running and set the temps at which the fans come on and the speeds at which they rotate. Haven't used it but just for playing around though.
