I got a little bit of weirded out shadow corruption till I restarted my computer, but otherwise it runs fine. You'll definitely need to turn the settings down a little bit (to around medium) though, its pretty graphically intensive.

I played the PvP "beta" in DX9 (DX10 wasn't supported) and managed excellent frames with low settings. Medium settings played fine in the PvE part but as soon as I got into the PvP city staging grounds it sucked big time.

Note that the beta client was reportedly a 3 month old build so things could change by the time release happens.

I'm playing open/closed beta. Since there's no NDA for lvl 1-13, I can tell you there's a massive difference in performance. With the open beta I got around 20-30 FPS with my inspiron 1520 on medium settings on 1440*900. I get about 10 more frames with the closed beta client. Inside you run around 60+ fps, so no problems there. PvP on the other hand I had to lower the settings. *either resolution or from medium to low*.

Fact is I recommend 4GB ram for this game, that's why I upgraded my lappy. (it's a significant boost to performance, although vista 64bit is needed).

But a desktop with a 8800GTS will do just fine with most stuff on high. And the game looks gorgeous on 1900*1200.
