Yeah, it's a great game. Bit slow at first depending on what class you choose. Especially clerics... though self-heal is worth it. I'm wrecking mobs 4-5 levels above me =D

Is there a nice community? I'm assuming since it's still pretty new that there aren't a ton of subscribers yet, but are towns ghost-like or do you see people running around doing stuff?

There's people all over. Most are nice It's no WoW yet, but there's a decent amount of people. At least enough to always find a group for quests

Edit: if you end up playing, go on Israphel server. Asmodian. We can roll together

    Krolkin - 18 Chanter
    Israphael - Asmodian

Depending on where I'm at and what I'm doing, I'm anywhere from 5 to 50fps lol. Always very playable with the exception of wading through crowds in Pand. Setting are Medium-High.

I play MMOs a lot when I enjoy it. I do not enjoy Aion. There is no story (nearly nothing.), mostly grinding, pretty much nothing interesting. It does have a nice graphics though. I stopped playing after the first week, after I hit level 22. Hell, even profession is like grinding. Sit there for 4 hours and get your skill level by what, 40-50 points? Yeah, complete waste of time there.

In many aspects, WoW is still better. (I don't play WoW anymore.)

A big part of both Guild Wars and Aion are pvp. I mean a big part. At level 25 you get to go to the Abyss
