Alan Wake hits PC in early 2012 - News at GameSpot

Too late to the party. D;
I know its a good game but when they leave PC gamers out to dry for this long it better be cheap. -
$19.99 sounds fair, unless it plays like a port then $00.99 is too much !
-
Too little too late, especially considering all of the other AAA titles we have. Unless Alan Wake is £5, I won't bother. They waited until winter to sell ice creams....
-
$5, that is my purchase point.

Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST
Same $5 no more...less is okay though.

Fat Dragon Just this guy, you know?
I'm just hoping they don't look at the (likely) horrible PC sales and use it as justification to deny more PC ports. I'll probably pick this up on a holiday sale after it's been out for a while though - I always wanted to play the game, even if it apparently failed to live up to its considerable hype.

I wanna play the new one really.

Yeah that is a little ridiculous to port it over, over a year later. We have this game for the xbox and it's great, but even so, if they port it over badly and it flops they will say there's no market for PC sales and that's just not the case. People just don't want to play a game twice like that, once on the console and once on PC for the same game doesn't make sense. Now if there is a sequel that was ported over in a TIMELY manner then yeah I can see getting it for the PC.
Talk about a day late and a dollar short...Seriously. -
Although it will sell out for 20$ at first, I'm pretty sure the price will drop fast. This is good news for me. I really wanted to play this game on PC. Now I will.
-
For those who don't have consoles, I think this is good. I'll play it if the price is right. The reviews for it are great.
-
i don't game unless its on PC
because PC is my only rig. not a fanboi but a tv type gaming is not my type (not the usual home stuff guy) so i think i will check this one out once the reviews are seen.

About time. Now how about heavy rain

Then again, the God of War series sold pretty well using that same mechanic as a central motivator of the control scheme, so maybe it's just me. -

I was excited about Alan Wake about 5-6 YEARS ago. They were supposed to be the FIRST game that would use Muli-Cores..
Way too little.. Way too late..
