    i loved AvP 1 and 2. very atmospheric and scary. hopefully the third one will deliver the same experience.

    The company that makes it usually does PC games I think, also the origional was for PC only as well as the 2nd and their most recent game was for PC & xbox360 released at the same time, so I'd assume this is going to be released at the same time if anything.

    The devs said in a short interview they will use a rather demanding engine but the visuals will well worth wild! So prepare some insane desktops my friends :)

    ps. I've just send an encouraging email to rebellion guys, showing my trust and support and excitement! AVP fans should do the same :)

    AvP 2 was one of the best multiplayer games out there, I always thought of it like star craft first person...really cool to hear its continuing!

    I had the Atari Jaguar and AVP was one of my favorite games. I just wished the Jaguar took off as it had pretty advanced graphics, etc. for its time.

    it's one of the best horror FPS imo. even though it scared the crap out of you you just kept playing until the end.

    I bought it shortly after it first came out, and couldn't get very far because I was a woosie. Now at least the graphics are old school so maybe won't scare me as much.

    Which is better AvP or AvP 2?

    Edit: crap, I can only find my AvP 2 CD! And have two copies at that! lol. Guess I'll play that instead.

    AVP2 > AVP. original AVP was good but come on, the sequel was amazing. U never forget the marine campaign.

    Even after all these years, i chickened out of AvP 2 during my reattempt yesterday. LOL. It's that tracker noise that gets me all nervous. Great sound byte if you ask me.

    haha that reminds me of the time when i was afraid to play to first resident evil after seeing the zombie feasting off a dead body. it's too bad i can't find my avp2 disc anymore. maybe you should try playing with the TV on lol.
