it does state that its better than the console versions. welll at least the graphics Anyways i still think it deserves a little bit more.

i preorderd it before release day and so far i like it


i still have have too get use too online play with the moves and stuff but i was having fun and getting some kills just moving around pushing buttons lol


i didn't try singleplayer yet but hopefully tonight i will.

The game is pretty good, although I prefer AVP2

 

I frigging loved the first two AvP's. The mulitplayer was heaps of fun. I'm hoping this one will be similar! From everything I've read, it seems to be the same concept as the old ones, with a graphical upgrade and a few new features.

I am most interested in the mulitplayer aspects. How are you guys finding it? Survival mode looks great!

 

The multiplayer is awesome so far for me and a few friends I play with. The games mechanics seem very simple at first (atleast to me) but can def become more complex. The last few games I played I was a different race in ranked TDM and my team always started off with the least amount of kills... until we fight together and come out on top. Its moments like that when I appreciate a good multiplayer game haha, it can be "anyones" game as far as im concerned.

Survival mode is really fun and scary if you play with a few friends, but I would really have to say that species TDM is where the action is at. While it is not necessarily one of the best multiplayer games I play, it is fun and worth $50 for all the replay value it offers. DLC is coming as well... so check it out!

Well my copy finally came but what an install time and such a large game :/ wish you could do what you could do with the old fallouts install some on the HDD and play some of the disk

 

Sigh amazing game with an excellent mutiplayer just a shame about the people lol. Played in species DM my team left so its me v 3 predators and they get upset when i refuse to melee them and instead turn their insides out with a plasma caster and disc lol.

 

Anyone wants to be my friend in AvP plz pm me. Group joining is way faster

 

Anyone else get the horrible pause/stutter for about 5 seconds every once in awhile? Seems Rebellion are looking into it, but man it is awful. Makes the game unplayable.

 

nope, but i have had a few glitches during mp. like when the game starts, i can hold v to talk but can't move or anything else. when i open menu, it stays there so i cant get it off either. i left the game (friend told me i was host lol). and dx11 worked for me at first in mp, but not single player intro videos. i updatded my gtx 260m, and now it wont work at all, rolled back and still wont play without freezing so i have to play in dx9, not that i noticed any difference. dx11 was darker and a bit harder to see.

 

Yeah, I get it. And the marine flashlight reduces my performance for some reason. It doesn't happen in the alien and pred campaigns.

 

Rebellion says a new patch should be out Monday. Good news at least they are fixing it.
