Basically a cheat. Program-in-a-program (sort of) that, with a press of a button, will give you infinite health, maximum ammo, high experience gains, etcetera.

Ugh, if that's the case, why bother? That's stupid, it takes the fun out of a game.

It sure is fun on a second play through.

For example, in The Last Remnant I kept getting my unions killed off before I awakened by XP-Grinding-Side. Then I would spend way too much time leveling up so I could whale on the annoying SOBs that had killed off the hero. This was on normal mode.

After restarting a new "playthrough complete" game on hard, I turned on a trainer and started to curbstomp. It's satisfying to thrash that nigh-impossible enemy with four hits from a Level 1 Crap Sword.

If you beat the game, then it can be quite fun. For instance, I absolutely love the trainer for GTA4 where I can spawn any car at any time, play as any model in the game, teleport where-ever I want, spawn pedestrians as enemies, followers, have no gravity mode, etc. That alone makes the PC version far better than the console versions and I look forward to using it with the expansions coming out soon. :)

    -shrug-

Stop bashing the poor guy. He's perfectly right when he says that it is entirely his choice how much of a challenge he wants out of a game.

Or are you flamers saying that you play every game on super ultra dragon tiger hard mode? Go finish I Wanna Be The Guy on Impossible, and then get back to me.

    Tata!

I'm not sure I understand your post. Who is doing the bashing, what/who is the bashing directed towards, and what is the nature of the bashing?

I never mentioned at all that he wasn't within his right at all. I just said my opinion.
