How long have you had the computer? When you put your hand near the hot air exhaust vent do you feel lots of air? Does performance start high for a very small time and then slow down really quickly??

Ok, try turning off your system and spraying some canned air in the vents to get out any clogged dust and lint. That is going to be your number one overheating issue, and as a result your components will downclock to manage to unescaped heat.

Otherwise it is possible your videocard is damaged, but I seriously doubt that is the case unless you are seeing artifacts and flashing broken textures in games.

This may seem REALLY obvious.... But I've done this to myself like 8 times. Is the computer on Maximum battery mode....? I've done that countless times and felt so stupid.

Lavitz, you seem to be having lots of problems lol.
Always use the latest(or the ones that deserved a good reputation) drivers, and ALWAYS monitor the temps.
