    Duke Nukem--Nuff Said ;)

    Tommy Vercetti/GTA Vice City--Grew up during the 80's, love Miami Vice, Scarface et al. Am also a casual Ray Liotta fan.

    Tommy Angelo/Mafia--Like Vercetti, only with some morals. ;) lol

    Dr. G. Freeman (Half life series) : Because unlike most other main characters from games, he's not some uber elite highly trained military type, he's not got any special powers, he's just a physicist who turned up to work late one day and got entangled in some seriously nasty events, and instead of running away and hiding like most would have, he stepped up to the plate... and promptly smashed it in with a crowbar! Then went missing for 10 years, came back when the G-Man brought him back/sold his services to the highest bidder... and promptly incited the revolution!

    Max Payne: I have a thing for old film noir style films :) and max payne is a great adapation of the genre to video games.

    Tommy Vercetti (GTA Vice City : Love the 80s and i love general ery.

    Vincent Valentine (FFVII) : Because i think he's cooler than cloud or sephiroth :p

    I did play it when it was released too but never completed it, cuz that time i was so young and didnt understand that much about it. But when BG2 came out i played through that 2-3 times and throne of baal 1 time.

    Now i am playhing through the whole saga again and am now on chpater 6 of 7 on BG1. Its a great game but little messy with quests and stuff.

    I have quite a few.

    I do like Gideon Wyeth from Advent Rising. Only he is enough to reload exotic alien weapons by flipping the around.

    Deviating from the new generation, 90s-onwards, characters here. I know how all are awesome, but my vote goes to some all-time classics.

    Dangerous Dave
    -I remember playing this in grade school in the 90s. It was difficult back then, but now people can insanely finish this in 7min. Too bad it doesn't directly work for Vista. Honestly though, Dangerous Dave is like the Super Mario for PCs. Plus, he's got the coolest name in the world...

    Very good summary of the HL series, I also loved the "ba" sound when Freeman hits aliens.
