I have been looking on the internet and came across allkeyshop and other sites, where CD keys are available much cheaper than original.
    Are these sites legal?

I don't know about that website, but the only place where I buy retail CD keys is CJS-KEYS: Buy Battlefield 4 CD Key for Origin and Titanfall Origin Key only at CJS CD Keys

I have only bought one key off them, ARMA III, and I can confirm that the game activated perfectly on Steam with no issues. PC Gamer has even done an article on the website here: | PC Gamer

These are other sites where I buy Steam/Desura/Origin keys as well and the games are usually in bundles for dirt cheap:

    All Game Bundles

Very reliable. Of the 160 games I have, I bet somewhere around 80 of them are from Allkeyshop or others like them. Either way, a discounted Steam/Origin key. Believe 100% of my Origin games are discounted keys. No issues at all and no issues in reliability. I get my pre-order bonuses for the most part, only Borderlands 2 I didn't get it, from a US key site. Ironically, avoid US key sites, Euro/Chinese/Brazilian are more honest, US may steal your pre-order bonus and sell it separately.
    - Unless it's a Steam sale going on, I won't buy on Steam.

Where I buy my games. I check all to see who has best price
    GreenManGaming
    Allkeyshop
    Gamefly
    GamersGate
    GetGamesGo

And I'm on Humble Bundle newsletter so I pick up a bunch of terrible indie games for a buck just to add to my steam collection, no intention of playing them. Max I'll pay for these terrible games is $4.

@akimitsui I have found CJS to be the most expensive since it's a UK site. Few times I have found a good price, they didn't have the game as listed and had to request a refund.

There is only one company I will support on their own distribution is CDPRoject, through their GOG.com site.

I got my BF4 from simplycdkeys, cdkey-store of simplygames.com. Couple of my coworkers got their keys from there too, no complaints so far :)

I got Spec Ops: the line for 6.90 euro on eBay.
eBay seems safer and easier to buy from and the price was right too.

I second Ebay, I have bought many games from there that I like having physical copies of, just if it's an opened game you have to verify if the Steam/Origin code has not been used - but I usually buy older titles from there so that is not an issue.
