    How much does the ambient temp of the room you're in affect how hot your comp gets? I'm only asking this since I live in the basement with no heat and right now it's 28 degrees F down here. Is it even necessary to use my cooler right now?

    Probably not, but you can probably use your vent from your laptop as a hand warmer inbetween rounds of COD or something :p

    THat's a good idea. Normally I just try to stay under the blanket as much as possible.
