    I'm joining the ranks of some you in that I, too, was too scared to play Amnesia. I'll just stick to watching other people on youtube playing it, preferably the youtuber gamesandstuffs.

    Yeah gamesandstuffs (real name Jamie) is really funny. I haven't watched too many game commentary youtubers, but he's by far my favorite. When he plays Amnesia or other scary games (actually any games for that matter), on screen, he also shows a video of him playing the game. It's kinda rendered in the corner of the video to just show him from the shoulders up, so it doesn't intrude the video at all. He makes the best facial expressions and when actually jump-scare scary parts happen, you get to see him jump and watch him try to collect himself after those parts. Too good.

    This game is hardly about graphics. 2006 graphics or not, it'll still scare just about anyone sh!tless. Not to mention, true horror is all about the sound!

    Yeah, gotta agree, not about the graphics at all. Play this game with headphones on and in the dark. I haven't played the game (like I said, just watch on youtube), but I hear this is the ideal way to play it.

    Headphones and darkness combo is great for scary or moody games. But the textures and shading looked terrible... hopefully the shaders just aren't done yet, because it's hard to believe a self-respecting company could release something that looks 6 years old.
