    Anandtech's 8800mGTX review

    Anyone else give this a look. The benchmarks were quite impressive especially since performance was right up there with SLI 7950GTX's.

    Here's the link for those interested. I would prefere this over 7950 GTX SLi just because you don't get the full benefit of SLi until after the driver for it get's optimized. You can realize the full speed NOW on single 8800m GTX instead of having to wait with SLi.

    i cant wait to get my 8800M GTX, expecially with a quad core
    i wonder how it would perform

    Judging from the review, as well as SLI'd 7950gtx's, lol. I don't yet think the CPU's they used in the benchmarks are bottlenecks yet.

    Possibly, but in the games they benchmarked a Quad Core would only probably yield another 1 to 2 fps. Now Crysis speaking thats a different story.

    wasn't there test done already showing identical results between a quad and duel core when tested with crysis?

    Crysis is so fubared atm. I've seen tests showing no gain or a loss from SLI on crysis. Wait until they patch it then we might can use it for a decent benchmark.
