It probably will, but there will be a monthly fee. I stopped supporting the FF series once that started.

i would not want it to be mmorpg, but the good old single player, i wish it would come out but im sorry to say square enix would never allow that to happen, but now that i think of it, the ps3 is selling bad, so maybe they will open it up a little to other systems. The only other company with any rights to FF is nintendo, PC wont have much of a chance

just looking at the track record, several final fantasy games have made it to the pc. recent ones have not, but its definitely possible.

FFXIII and XIII Versus are exclusives to PS3... like MGS4.

Thats how to get people to buy a PS3.

the final fantasys that came to the pc were when SquareEnix was a great company with lots of money....*cough, before they joined with enix and the quality of games started to suck, so they can't afford to bring it to the pc, its kinda of one of those "final fantasy" things again, if you understand the reason for the name of the series.

Well, they need to bypass this part. A X360 port is highly unlikely too.

I doubt that could have been randered @60FPS@1920x1080 on a 7800GTX.....

I am the same. I stopped supporting the series when it become online. I like it much better as a single player game with a storyline to follow and not an endless mmorpg. It just doesn't make sense for a game like Final Fantasy.

Lol this looks higly doubtful...a PC port of XIII....

the only ports that were made were the FFVII and FFVIII..(unless I missed other releases in some weird time warp into the future...?!?) ....and those were made by SQUARESOFT!..and then it was SQUARE-ENIX when FFX came out....was there a port to the PC?...no.

    Just like what danjohnson88 said....its a different company now...sorta much more stricter/meaner.

The Wii, X360 and PS3 all have the physX by Aegia (sp?). It's based on on Nvidia's CUDA, the shader architecture and nvidia will release drivers enabling physX in July. The ATI cards are also capable of it, we don't know if they will enable it though

@The Forerunner: Maybe not the actual release, but the final will/should. Uptil now, the screens are in 1080p, dunno if it's gonna run in native 1080p at the end though

Nope.. ATI doesn't have it... Means xbox360 cannot do it... lol..
kidding.. ATI has it, but it's called CTM (Close To Metal, i know it's a weird name), not CUDA.. But I'm not sure about the part if ati is able to use physX patch by nvidia.. that would be like nvidia totally helping their competitor..

I mean, everything that is running on the unified shader architecture can use physX. Weither ATI will enable it or not is another thing. The physX was made by Nvidia. I don't know how it is physically in the X360 but I know physX can be done, at least at the software level. I'm not sure on the PS3 either but it can do it and the Wii has the physical PhysX by Ageia card in it.

Are you a moron? It was weeks ago and Final Fantasy XIII was announced to be multiplatoform game, not exclusive, lol.

Get it? Playstation 3 and X360. But PS3 will be leadplatform as they've already stated and X360 version will be a port of it. Also in Japan it will stay as Playstation 3 exclusive.

Another note is that X360 version will be not as high quality as PS3 version and it'll be on four to six DL-dvds.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will stay Playstation 3 exclusive, this has been confirmed both .. by Sony and Square-Enix.

Next time get your facts staright and don't come here to lie, k?

there are older FF games that had the hair Wave, and that was way back, i dont see how you need a physics processor to make it happen.

Yes, you are right, but i cant imagine that its done with Only a physics card, Desktops will have no problem since they have more Shader Processing units, but the mobile version of the cards will lag behind when using Physx depending on how great the Game is Graphically.

In CGs, not real time. I think it's possible it will come. The White Engine is PC-based. The Last Remnants is already coming to PC.

Ok i understand your point, but i dont think it can only be done with Physx, thats right what you said that it was done in CG in the old days, but many modern games have the hair wave in real time.
