Hello
Since my laptop only has the GMA 950 as its graphics card, I might buy very cheaply of course Quake 3. Though, do people still play online this game? If so, what type of connecting server would I choose? i.e. im on dial up. Refer to sig for my model.
EDIT: Include Quake 4; but is it playable on GMA 950?

Yes, there are many people that play Q3 still, Quake 4 however will be compleatly unplayable on your system. But you would probobly want to get DSL before playing online, because all the servers pings are very high.... for some reason.

It's still very popular online....I was on a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the amount of servers still running, it's not much different then it was a few years ago!

I just installed the other day. I haven't tried it online though.

How many times are you going to ask these questions?
