Hi. I have a few friends who play FPS games on PS3 and several others on PC. So I was just wondering whether anyone knows of any games which allow multi-player gameplay between these two systems? FPS or otherwise.

I know generally speaking PC gamers would have the advantage but i'm still curious. Are there any games which have been released or announced for this year (maybe during E3 or in the news lately) which support this feature? How about CoD:MW2, MGS:Rising, FFXIV, Dead Rising 2? Any of these?

    Thank you in advance. :)

The only one i know of is Phantasy Star Universe which requires a subscription. PC + PS2 servers are linked and PS2 game can be played on a ps3 oh uhh i guess you need the model that can play ps2 games as well.

Shadowrun, Lost Planet: Colonies Edition, Universe at War: Earth Assault are three games that are cross-platform between the PC and Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy 11 is cross-platform between the PC, PS2 and Xbox 360.

Actually none of those games are cross-platform, they are multi-platform but you cannot play online with others on another platform. With Unreal Tournament 3 on the PS3, you can import mods made on the PC to the PS3 to play.

Thanks for the replies guys. But are there any games at all for PC-PS3 cross-platform gaming?
I think UT3 was suppose have this feature but they withdrew it. FFXIV seems to be the only likely candidate but I was hoping for an FPS like CoD.

If Sony had their way, any cross-platform PS3 game would only be compatible with PCs under the VAIO umbrella.

I am about to get some beta key's (to distribute) for an upcoming MMO that is cross-platform (so far PC and PS3 have worked well in the alpha/beta stages).
