We know it's hopefully sometime in 2014. Any prediction though? It would help me in planning the next upgrade.

Q3 2014 - unless AMD actually releases a 20nm part which will blow nVidia out of the water, they may try to push it ahead a bit, but I doubt they can do much better timing-wise.

I guess Q3 make sense since 700m just came out and releasing 800m too fast will make the earlier kinda obsolete.

Hahaha, I just wanna skip 700m and I want to upgrade before possibly leaving US.

GTX 880M will be released May 2014.
Some other low end models earlier.

Source: Fermi and Kepler launch months

Insighter: TSMC (which Nvidia and AMD use) will be mass shipping out 20nm wafers in January 2014 to partners. They are already doing risk production right now on 20nm but isnt ready to ramp up production until that phase is over.

Not anytime soon, that's for sure.

When it does let's hope it will be Fermi - Kepler difference once again. :)

Right. Although availability for public purchase in OEM machines will likely not but until June or July.

Yeah most likely. The card itself will be available at Ebay earlier though, and a few select members from this forum will be fighting to be the first one to bench it. And everyone will be like "wooooow, thats almost 2x the 3DMark score compared to 680M"

    Predictable
    :p

Wasn't the top end delayed before? I.e. the 880M may take longer?
