Have you tried using a different video driver. Are you OCing your GFX card? If you are back it off a bit. What are your GFX temps?

When you changed your driver did you uninstall the old one completely? I.e. using Driver Cleaner or another program to get rid of all the old files? Have you updated your Direct X?

I have the issue with the snow looking wonky on my 7950's. But not the trees. No driver has fixed the snow issue for me yet. If I were in your shoes I would recommend uninstalling your current driver completely then reinstall something more stable like 169.04. See if that makes a difference or not and give us a shout back. Don't forget to update your DirectX also!

Is it an SLi configuration you're using? Try disabling the SLi for both games for the time being and see if it helps.
