Great racing game with fantastic graphics by Codemasters. Same guys who did the dirt series. Codemasters knows their racing games...

    so who else plays it?

GRID is indeed a great game. But, isn't it out there for a long time already?

In addition, there's some better Racing Games now which is NFS and DiRT 2.
DiRT 2 uses DirectX 11 and it's graphics far beyond GRID.

Might be getting dirt 2 tomorrow and need for speed. The feel of speed in GRID isn't all that great which i heard it is in dirt/nfs

Codemasters are also doing the new F1 game for 360 and PC.

Can't wait, especially now that Schumi is back :)

you'll be able to play just fine with guys on Steam even though you have the retail... Just start the game through Steam and it will use the Steam overlay.

GRID is great, and the graphics of DiRT2, and NFS aren't much better. I also disagree that either of them are better. DiRT2 is a rally game, and the new NFS is terrible.

GRID is just awesome, I go by UNKNOWNGAMING on GRID.

I probably would play GRID but with Dirt 2 I cant see myself playing any other game for a while when I find time to play and want to race.

When I played it as it came out i did not like the super twitchy controls but had I taken the time to adjust my controls and just get used to the game I probably would have liked it.

GRID is a game I often go back and play from time to time. I love the physics in the game and just the different varieties of race types in the game.

Did you really played DiRT 2, especially on DirectX 11? It's way different from GRID.
Graphics Quality is much superior than GRID. This is fact.

Yes, I own it. Have I played DX11, no, but I played it max on my CF HD4850 setup on W7, I've seen all the videos of the DX11 and it doesn't look that much different than what I'm already playing. Even compared to the first DiRT, I don't really see too much different graphically. Performance wise, the game is amazing, they've really done something with the optimization. GRID was an already fantastic looking game, and DiRT2 looks nearly identical, calling it much superior to GRID seems to me like your almost implying it's as significant as the jump from GTA2->GTA3, HL1->HL2, FarCry->Crysis, etc.
