The Saints Row 2 PC game has a problem on Windows Vista and Windows 7 where it runs too fast, regardless of settings, Vsync or anything. Even if it says 15 fps, it seems more like 100 fps.
One user on the Saints Row 2 PC forums said he used a program called SpeederXP that allowed him to play the game almost at normal speed http://www.speederxp.com/en/faq.htm
This program doesn't seem to work well on Windows 7 and causes other programs to crash.
Does anyone know of any other programs like this, free or paid that do the same thing that I could try?
Playing Saints Row 2 under Windows 7 is like watching a movie at fast forward.

hmmm, how about downclock your GPU via Nvidiasystemtools? You know, set up a profile with lower clocks when u run the game. This may worth trying.

moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
it's not about the GPU power, so it wont help.
As the OP said, even @ 15fps the game is too fast.
If you underclock you will lose quality but it will not slow down.
Any suggestions of other speed reducing programs?
