Sometimes my internet connection screws up and while I am disconnected from the server, I am still "in there", for some reason. Is there any way I can kick my self of a server I am not in, nor I have any control over?

You're still 'there' because your ghost has not dropped. It's just how it works. There's no way around it. You just have to wait.
