I just got a new laptop about a week ago(Sager NP8660) and I can't find the box/manual to some of the games I've bought, which means in turn I don't have my activation codes on hand. The games in question are all installed and activated on my other laptop. Are the codes typically stored somewhere accessible, or is there like a file that denotes activation that I can copy over or something along those lines?

You can't.

I hear cdkeys a lot of the time are stored in the registry...but I would not mess with that.
A lot of programs have cdkey viewers nowadays (i.e. WC3, Office, etc.) -
For some games, simply moving the files and the registry over works fine. But it doesn't work with all games though. You could give it a shot. Remember to back up all your registries first.

I always use the methods of copying the game folder, the save folder and all the game entries in Hkey_local_machine/software/*...Worked with many games like titan quest, Oblivion...
Any way to copy a game install from one PC to another?
