    Anybody know how to DISABLE hypermemory on ATI mobility cards?

    I've read that it can increase performance because its not robbing your system ram and processor.

    Man, I've looked everywhere :(

    Is there a SECRET way to get to hidden bios settings on an ASUS A8jp? I think it might be in the hidden bios or something :(

    With the x1600, I don't think it actually does so. It wouldn't really need it for the most part. I'm not too sure though. I don't think the underclocked x1600 on my MBP does that.

    I know you could increase the memory of an NVIDIA GoForce 7400 if you upgrade your drivers to vista, conversely, you should also be able to reduce/disable them. Look for drivers that do that...

    The 128BM/256MB will not be taken from the main memory unless there is intense graphics going on.
    My W3J has 512MB main memory (in the first week anyway),I could manage anything,the 512MB ram was all being used by windows/FREE.
    Many have tried that,as far as I'm concerned non succeeded.
