    That game was awesome.

...and no it isn't the horror section of an online movie listing site.

It's a brilliant game. I remember playing the demo when I was 9 or 10. It was kind of humourous too.

I remember... it was one GREAT game... it is one game without blood lust (well.. maybe becoz they are already dead)... definitely on my top list with FF7, cnc, starcraft, warcraft dota, cs.

Great game! I think one thing that made it so great was the original setting and story. The gameplay itself was on par with other adventure games (i.e. fine but not revolutionary) but Tim Schafer's writing was so utterly original. Thank god, he did not give us yet another treasure-hunt-in-Egypt or lost-on-a-kind-of-strange-island-with-strange-contraptions. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed some great instances of these two themes (Riddle of the Sphinx and Riven respectively) but when it seems that everybody is just rehashing variations on a theme, you start craving for something else. Schafer delivered, in spades no less!

That's the problem with games today, especially adventure games. The story is usually scaled back in favor of other things, like graphics and playability. I wish they would bring back another Monkey Island game or Grim Fandango 2. Would be awesome.

I really loved Grim Fandango back in the day!! I had a lot of fun with it and it really was the first big advanture game I got into. Do you remember the pigeons in the beggining of the game?? I especially loved them, it was a very good idea!

    Memorieees....
