Hello,
I always wanted to know people's experience with wireless eyewear. Is it good in terms of resolution? Is it worth it to play games, watch movies and etc? Instead of watching through my laptop screen, would I be able to just wear the glasses instead?
Thanks

I've seen another brand of the same technology. The screens are each 640x480 resolution I believe, which is really low for a monitor, but not so bad for something that close to your retina.
I've never used one myself, but a small percentage of people I know think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Personally, the loss of peripheral vision scares me too much, what if a giant man-beetle is about to bite my head off, how will I know to dodge his grotesque mouthparts? -

Are they available for PCs as well?

pointless if you have a laptop with a screen in front of you

Thats actually a good idea, I wonder if it has any long term effect on your eyesight though?
Its great for people with low end laptops that want to game because you will only need to run it at 640x480 and its not a bad price either. -
And also good when you need to use the laptop in a sunny environment.
I wouldn't mind sitting with them in the backyard catching some sun while working. -

This just looks silly. Your eyes would definitely go bad from this. And I could imagine the headaches/migraines and motion sickness.

I've tried these before. They make me so very, very ill.

Actually, didn't the VirtualBoy take a lot of heat from causing eye damage because people didn't take breaks every 30 minutes or so? This puts way too much strain on the eyes, but is a cool concept.

Anyone could sneak up on you, you could have a heart attack.
But I imagine it would be much more immersive and could end up playing games for well over 30mins without realising. -
