Ive been playing the Kings Bounty Trial. Im pretty sure im going to buy it but just have a couple of quick questions.

Is there any way to "con" characters like in mmorpg. so you can see ahead of time what level the baddies are before you fight them. The reason I ask is because Some fights are grossly overpowered. You go to fight and just get raped really bad. I try and save before each battle so if run into a bad one I can just reload and avoid it. But I keep thinking there is something im missing.

The second is Im playing a paliden. however he doesnt participate in the fights. he is like the commander and gets experience and everything but unless im missing something I dont see him in the battle group. so whats the point of giving him spells and stuff if he never has a turn in the game to use them. Again I feel like im missing a big part of the game. with no directions its hard to figure everything out on your own.

maybe its better I just buy it from a retail store to get the directions?

Because im too lazy to give you any advice myself.

Edit: Sorry but im pretty tired, for your first question; you can click on enemy stacks and if it says "impossible" you may want to leave them alone for a while.

for your seond question; your hero can cast spells and use his rage box once per round, see the icons at the bottom of the screen.

There is also a skill called "Scouting" I believe that can give you more information on enemy's before you fight them. Depending on the number of points you put into it you can see what types of enemies and the amount.

Quit a few fights I was setting it on automatic fight so thats why I was missing my round. I see now on manual fights his spellbook you can open it and use it so thanks for that.

I will check out the scouting thanks. if you right click it does give a little info however some still state they are easy or equal when they are clearly not.

I think im at the end of the demo many places are locked and wont let me enter it. amazon has this game new listed for like 12 bucks so im going to get it.

in the sequal Armored Princess when you right click on a unit it tells you the strength of that unit with respect to you, from weak to equal in strength to invincible, i don't think KB: the legend has that feature but i could be wrong
