Team Fortress 2 is awesome! It took a little while to figure out the in and outs of the different characters, but once you do, the game is really amazing. I've played it more that HL2: Episode 2 and Portal combined. :p

Is anyone else enjoying it, it is certainly one of the funnest multiplayer games I have played in a while. :)

Its fun, I am glad its in the orange box package because portal only took a few hours to beat, then hl2 only took a few hours to beat, the other games I already had and also took only a few hours to beat.

So TF2 is the only game of the bunch that offers ongoing playability since its multiplayer. Fun it is but its getting old fast with the limited amount of maps.

It made me realize how good BF2142 and BF2 are tho, both of those games are great online fps games, also UT2004 was broght back to me by the UT3 demo.

So TF2 has a nice little nitch and is fun and funny, but I think there are other games out there that are still better and hold a longer replay value.

From what I understand from the Developers Commentary in TF2, they tried making fewer maps but in these maps they put a lot of effort into making them enjoyable maps with replay value.

Now I'm not saying I don't like these maps, I love them, but they are still getting a little old.

Time for me to bust out the ol' Source SDK eh?

I'm trudging through Episode 2 right now, but so far pretty good. I thought episodes would be a good thing, but their short duration kinda kills the mood somewhat. The fact that it took them so long to release Episode 2, for the short amount of content, kind of annoyed me however.

Got tired of TF2 in the demo already. I agree about BF2. While there aren't tons of maps, the maps are huge, varied, and always are begging for more game time.

Portal is the greatest new addition IMHO. I do hope they come out with a simple to use editor and/or a significant add-on, and quickly. I'd love to toy with making our own maps. Plus if they could digitize that chics voice so you could type in what you want her to say would be awesome too. Adding some sort of competitive multiplayer race to the finish kind of thing would be fun too.

I'm for sure going to get orange box soon.. haven't played Episode 1, 2, portal, or TF2 yet.
