I have had this habit lately of playing all of my games on my laptop (1680x1050) in a window of about 1366x768 at full graphics and what not.

I don't know why... But they play smoother and the res doesn't kill the pc.

On top of that.. Stretching to a smaller 1440x900 or so makes the game blurry.

    Anyone else do this?

I run Diablo 2 windowed because the sprites look a little sharper, other games I will run windowed for better frames sometime. 950 can't do a whole lot at 1440x900 ^_^

Some modern games offer that option in their option menus. I think you can try and look at the nVidia control panel to see if that option in general is possible.

Usually, you can add a "-w" after the executable, but running intensive games in windowed mode will crash your system.

I love windowed, didn't want to buy COD4 for a while because I thought there wasn't a way to run it ( in windowed ) but then I found a command that works.
