ShadowPlay is supposed to work with notebooks now, but it doesn't record anything. I press the Alt+F10 and it doesn't save or record anything. Anyone else have any luck with it? Using 377.50 beta drivers with Clevo W230SS and GTX 860m.

I haven't had any issues recording with ShadowPlay using 332.35 or 337.50 on my 880M. The only quirk is that it doesn't seem to go above 1920x1080.

Do you see the little ShadowPlay circle in your games?

Ah, no I don't. I will report it to nVidia and see what they say, if anything.

Are you running it under windowed mode?

Last time I used shadowplay, it didn't work under full screen windowed mode.

Nope, fullscreen. I never use Windowed mode. BF4 or Titanfall.

It's working fine with 780M SLI for 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 resolutions. I wonder if it's only because 800M series is so new that it's a bug. Does it appear to activated correctly in the GeForce Experience? What about using Alt+F9 instead? (Alt+F10 is to save the shadow recording, not toggle recording on/off manually.) If all else fails, does adding the -shadowplay argument to the end of the path for the GFE shortcut make it work the way it did before support became official?

Yep, mine looks just like that, and Alt-F9 or Alt-F10 don't work. Even with the shortcut. It's broken. Doesn't work. :(

That was supposed to be a selling feature for 800m series cards, was supposed to work with it "out of the box".

I got it to work but not with Mechwarrior Online.

Soo... I am just using MSI Afterburner to record videos. Works well.

Eh... I have MWO running in frameless window mode. This is why shadowplay doesn't work in that game.

Sent with love from my Galaxy S4

It seems like it maybe only works for Kepler 6xx and 7xx gpu's as my 675M isn't supported but the 660M is.

Yeah only Kepler and above because it requires the hardware H.264 encoder that only they have.

    EDIT: Maxwell works too.

    Hi Mr Fox,

I've got the same Alienware 18 model as you and my shadowplay performance is quite poor. I'm not sure if its my router causing a slowdown though... Does it run 100% smoothly for yourself?

    Thanks,

    Ryan
