Dead Space is set for release soon and its looking pretty good. Sort of the resident evil in space with bioshock elements feel. I honestly think this could be one of the most innovated games to come out this year. Crysis warhead can kiss my ***..

Anyways, anyone look forward to this? has anyone decided to pre-order this game already?

i am so ****ing looking forward to this game! My computer needs some more games to play in it and this one looks amazing.

Well, at least the story and gameplay does.

However, i'm holdig off on pre-ordering after a horrendous experience with pre-ordering Devil may cry 2 and hating it after like 10 minutes of gameplay.

but yea! so looking forward to this game!

    FALLOUT 3 as well

yeh, i am so psyched for october, not just this game, but fallout 3, far cry 2.

out of the three this is first on my list. I know far cry 2 and fallout 3 will be great, but this just looks like the most innovative different of the bunch.

I'm definitely getting Deadspace. I need another good third-person action game.

    I might preorder.

I might get it but it's an EA game. Will it include the same 3/5 activations DRM BS like Spore and Mass effect?

This game is looking pretty good. I read an article from Kotaku written by someone who got to play it and he said that the A.I. is actually pretty smart. And the game itself might be one of the bloodiest games ever. So far I'm sold.

Nothing wrong with 3 or 5 activations, IMO, s'long as they make that cap disappear not too long after the game's released.

The bigger problem is that all of this DRM does abso-***ing-lutely jack. How is it that big game companies haven't realised by now that any game that's going to be popular enough to make money is also going to be popular enough to get cracked and put on Warez sites or P2P networks within days of release? (Or earlier.)

Yep, I've learned my lesson about pre-ordering and ending up with a crap game.

True, well i usually pre-order if Im 90% sure of how a game might turn out, like I pre-ordered gears 2 on xbox 360 right away.

Dead space is a brand new title, so i guess we should wait. Chances are its gonna turn out well though. Who can mess up a space zombie shooter...The genre is just too awesome.

Well I don't want to preorder, but the bonus artbook looks like it's going to be pretty cool. Hopefully some reviews for the PC version come out soon so I don't have to miss out on it.

good thing then ^^, im still considering getting this for xbox 360 over PC. Im not sure if it'll run as well on my mediocre machine. It'll be a shame to play this on tune downed visuals.

I love Bioshock. I am not crazy about 3rd person on PC but I can get into it if it's done right. So far this looks very good. Definitely one to watch for. But I will wait for some PC reviews before buying like I always do. There are many big titles coming out over next 4-8 weeks, will be interesting to see what everyone is buying. I have a feeling Fallout 3 will leave this one in the dust in sales. But it could end up being too slow and RPG-ish (aka: Stalker) for me... In that case I would rather go for something like Dead Space. Time will only tell. :)

Looks ok. But I don't think it will reach the caliber of Half Life or Bioshock. It's all about the story in single player games, it's what keeps making you sit back down to your pc. So far it's looking like another space shooter to me. :(
