Every once in a while I play the single player.

Was REALLY hoping the CoD War Chest would go on sale on Steam during the end of year sale.. $29.99 for CoD 1 + 2 + United Offensive is a bit too much... $4.99 and we're talkin!

    Man I miss CoD1.

I loved the opening level when you would have your troops parachute in and you were in that field storming the house.

My favorite map was probably.... I'd like to say Depot, I have no idea tho if that's its name. The snow level with the two factories in the middle. Not the one with the tanks in the hangar and the 3 story sniper building.

Man that just brought back memories.

It was the game that started PC gaming for me.

If I had never played it on the powerhouse 1 ghz pemtium iii gateway we had, I probably would have never looked into PC gaming.

I no longer have it but I miss it. I always liked COD2 a little more than the rest. It felt like at it's peak, the maps people were making for multiplayer were unbelievable.

Oh man, I have never felt more accomplished in a game than making it to the roof of the Reichstag. I forget if that was the original or the expansion though.

The other thing I loved about Call of Duty was how much of it was based on movies. It is funny watching old war movies and then recognizing it from a computer game.
