Anyone play Entropia universe?

So i was just getting bored and was surfing net when my eyes landed on this game called "entropia universe", just wondering if anyone here plays it? and know how good/bad it is? i read something about that game having real cash economy. Sounds interesting, but wanted to get some reviews about the game first before i dl it.

 

haha don't do it, no... seriously, DON'T DO IT.

I played that game for about 8 months, constantly adding my real money to my gaming account, It's a scam, first you need money to make money, i mean you need $1000's to make hundreds. It will suck your time away, and to no satisfaction. trust me, move on to a different game.

 

It's not a scam, it's a pretty good game to get into.

As with real life, if you don't know what you're doing, you can lose you're money.

In Entropia, if you use the resources available and invest wisely, calculate what activities to take part in when, you are pretty much able to make a regular profit.

If you just jump into things without paying attention to what you are doing, or completing any research, you will probably lose alot, just like real life.

 

I heard the game lags like a *****, but when it starts using Crytek 2 engine i will test it out.

 

It had a phase after the implementation of Physx that had some lag, but that was delt with long, long ago. Runs pretty smooth now, a few bugs here and there of course, but it's always being updated so that is to be expected. Looking forward to CE2 before the end of the year !

 

Its a good game to get into if you have 70,000$ of your daddy's money to dump into it...are you by chance this kid?
