Anyone play Gary's Mod here?

Hey guys. I've been playing garrys mod for about a year now and finally found a good server. For me, garrys mod really gets fun when you find a good server, becuase then you can really build, and save your things, plus get to work with other people on group projects. They have a good community thats supported with forums, so you get to be friends with other players. We group build things often, our current project is rebuilding rapture from bioshock! we have a train going down into the water ect. You can see early pictures of it in the forums. We also have Death match fridays, where we all build an arena and then fight in it. There are a few pics of that up on the forums too. Anyways, i hope to see a few NBR members on the server! (i'm tangent on the server and in the forums BTW, lemme know if your from NBR!)

 

Look for our resident braggart/troll/hot air specialist Beatsiz. He has the mod you're referring to and constantly claims to get it to run at medium to high settings on his GMA 950.

As an aside, what is this mod? Is it an official extension of Far Cry or a homebrew mod of the game?

 

Garry's mod is based upon the Source engine, HL2 mostly anyways

 

That makes sense then. The HL2 engine if I remember correctly is far less demanding than Far Cry's so even integrated cards like the GMA950 can run it, though I don't know if they manage medium to high.

As I already said MANY times the game garrys mod runs VERY VERY VERY well on gma950...

I can do almost anything... even with 50 AI its still smooth

Its an amazing game... I dont get why people havent caught on to it... SO much custom stuff for it...

I PLAY GARRYS MOD!!! my fav. game for now... check out sandbox2 with Crysis (its basically garrys mod but better)

I'm still waiting for those fraps screenshots. I'll cut you slack on HL2 but how about convincing me and most people on this forum that you're more than just a troll with severe language disabilities?

All you need to do is post screenshots with the same resolution on your PC with fraps on so that we know what framerate your system is getting for the particular shot. If you can't manage this simple instruction then there's little else I can conclude about your mental age and whatever humility you still retain.
