Curious if you have played it on either the 8600gt or the 8400 gs? Also is the game different each time you play? One thing that is so annoying with games is that with all the potential, they are the same each time you play. Does this game vary the AI so that it attacks differently each time?
I think when you pay for a game, the replay value should be high.
Thanks for your opinons!

Yes, it varies a lot. Every time you play, different factions become powerful or get wiped out. I've had Spain invade and conquer Scotland in one game, Venice virtually take over the world in another. Sometimes England gets to dominate a lot of western Europe, sometimes they get beaten back to the british isles.
Sometimes the pope never really gains any kind of military power, and sometimes he's an unstoppable force.
I'm playing it on my 6800 GT, so I'd assume all 8xxx cards could play it too. -
Personally I prefer Rome, but yes Medieval is alot of fun as well. You won't regret buying it.

pretty much what jalf says. the ai is pretty random with which factions go well.
i play on my go7700, so the 8600gt will play fine on med-high settings, with the 8400gs on low-med. -

the holy roman empire will take ALOT of places and people will randomly get pissed off at you, and the inquisitor kill EVERYTHING -
I have it all fully maxed on my 8600GT, 16x AA....everything, only time it gets slow is on large siege battles

And in some games, the HRE never gets much more than 4 regions. It varies a lot.
Anyone play Medieval Total War 2?
