Well, I want to do this but I can't. I went to the widescreen gaming forums and couldn't figure out what to do exactly. Has anyone been able to run bf2 at their native resolution on their notebook? If so, how?

It's pretty straight forward. You edit the shortcut you are running to launch BF2. You set the commands(per the instructions) for the resolution your system runs. That'll launch it at that widescreen res. Of course, it's not really widescreen...it's stretched...but it looks ok.
