Hmm, looks alright. Looks like a rip off of the Modern Warfare series, but hopefully it's still a good game.

Really? They don't continue making more WWII-based games to add to the stockpile of hundreds, and move on to modern settings, and that means they rip off Call of Duty? Well, by that logic, CoD4 and MW2 must have ripped off Battlefield 2...I mean, that's a series that moved to modern combat years ago.

Either way, I have high hopes for this game. I've always been a fan of the Medal of Honor series more than Call of Duty, and I think it's never gotten the attention it deserves, especially with Airborne.

Well MOH come out 1st with their nicely done WW 2 ..then COD which doesn't really get that much attention at the time ,but ppl get tired of WW2 stuff then COD MW come out, that was a big hit , playing MW2 now ..I start to hate it , just because thanks to CS, CS:S and MW ..it killed all the long range sniper maps/ convention warfare type like Novalogic's delta force .... loved my M4+M203 shooting @ 600 - 800 sometimes even 1100 meter target then get sniped by a M82A1 .50 that is out there by 1500 meters.

Vietnam's been done, almost as much as WWII. The only problem is, every title has been a pile of junk (each to a varying degree). I heard rumors that the next COD might finally abandon WWII for something set during this era...... ( Check this out)

Korea.....am not sure why that's never gotten any attention, though it would be interesting to see.

Nevertheless, it's nice to finally see the series that started it all step into the modern era

I don't really know what to think about Airborne. The first few levels were incredibly fun. But in the last two, things got weird, because of the huge mg42-toting supersoldiers, which were completely unnecessary imo. I didn't mind that the campaign was largely fictional, but they could at least seem like they're striving for realism.

And yeah, the original Delta Force was awesome.

Oh yeah, those elite guys were a little ridiculous. I'm sorry, but those gas masks just shouldn't stop two Springfield rounds directly to your domecap. :p

Multiplayer was excellent though, and I think it would have been better if only there were more people playing it.

Allied Assault was a definite classic though. Way better than the original Call of Duty, if you ask me.

MOHA indeed was fun despite it being a bit ridiculous later in the game as mentioned, lol. I played through it twice and would gladly do it again now that it's been sometime since my last play through. It will be interesting to see how the new MOH does modern warfare. Looks pretty gritty from what I can tell.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they've been crap. The Allied Assault expansions (Breakthrough and Spearhead) were both excellent. Pacific assault wasn't the greatest, but it was good. And Airborne was great; I think what it needed was more publicity.

    I can't speak for the console-based series, I haven't played MoH on a Playstation since Underground. :p

Maybe we get a little more realistic MP in MoH than CoD:MW2 now that Dice is handling it.
Tried playing multiplayer on the new CoD on a friends computer and it felt kinda arcade run and gun with some weapons. :(
    (Or maybe its just me.)

I just hope they make some decent bigger maps ..instead of urban area again..I am really getting tired of running around houses ( Yes I am one of the snipers that sits in one spot with a M82A1 .50 Cal and snipe people from 1k+ in Delta Force. ) I think main reason they don't bring out Korean war is because of Chinese Army ..... it will be banned in China which is a really really big market share . But I am sure if they make one with all 4 sides ( North Korean/Chinese , US/South Korean ) story line , it will be accepted . Like start with beginning of the war when North Korean was hitting real hard and gaining ground from the South Korean. Then transfer to a US soldier/Marine view when the counter attack started , then transfer to a Chinese soldier's view when they start crossing the Yalu River and push all the way back to 38 and end with a south Korean soldier view that fighting alongside the American till the treatment being sign .

Hopefully they get the weapon details more accurate than cod.

I agree that then new cod is more of an arcade. The other thing is basically every weapon in cod4 and mw2 is unaccurate. including bullet ballistics.

You know how funny was it that when I was playing MW2 , normal life , a .50 cal needs like 3 shots to kill one person...I really wondering what the design team is thinking , I would love to see a guy wear body armor and get shot with a .50 Cal BMG round(I don't even need the match grade to test it just regualr .50 cal BMG will do) and surrive it ....

People don't like those because we didn't win, so you can't really have any glorious battles knowing you'll feel awesome at the end.
