I have a slow Celeron N3450 laptop and I've been scouring the web for videos on how it performs on this CPU but can't find any.

Has anyone tried playing it on this CPU? The laptop I'm running has an M.2 SSD and 4GB of RAM.

It's simply impossible. The Celeron N3450 is a tablet CPU. Rnning XCOM 1, let alone XCOM2 on it is flat out not possible.

The minimum requirements are far beyond a 1Ghz Celeron and an HD 500 iGPU.

Why not just buy it on Steam to test it out? You can ask for a refund if it isn't good enough, and you'll get your money back with no questions asked.
