Anyone wants to help me review games on my new blog??

htwingnut, you think you can somehow help me with the layouts?? I ve tried learning Java, HTML, CSS. HTML and CSS was not that bad, but i keep forgetting it. Java.. i watched whole bunch of video tutorials on it but i never get the codes..

 

Nvm i found this tutorial and I m gonna try to learn from it for the next few days. I just have one question, after i make a layout like this in photoshop, how will i upload it?

 

To be honest, I would look at the different Joomla layouts and take the other poster's offer up on having him set it up. Joomla is designed for cookie cutter sites. You can always tune it later or revise it to make it a little more unique. I would love to help, but I just don't have the time these days. I have a couple website ideas I've personally been toying around with just haven't had the time to do the legwork. I also have done game and PC hardware reviews. If you have the time, it can be fun, but also stressful trying to make a deadline. Deadlines are important too because otherwise people lollygag around and deliver a review six months later.

 

I will take that guy's offer when i know that i can't do this although it's tempting to have someone do this for me, i like to do things by myself. Can you answer the question though, after i make a layout using photoshop, how do i upload it.

I dont' know how to convert this photoshop file to a layout that i can use in blogger. Experts, I need your help

 

Guess I'm not sure what you mean by upload a photoshop file to a layout. It's not as simple as that. You have to break down each individual section, and layout each section with parts of the images you want to make it look like your image. That's where the web design talent comes in. There's no way to just turn an image into a website layout.

I would love to write reviews of indie games like Minecraft, Amnesia etc. But my english isn't perfect, and you will need to correct my grammar sometimes

So where finished with the design. Where still tweaking the lay-out a bit but everything is pretty much set to be filled with news/previews/reviews and we just added a specials section where you can post guides and other cool stuff people at NBR are famous 4
