    Are the S580 and w35 decent for gaming?

    Im in the market for a computer with similar dimensions to these 2 and am just wondering how they do for gaming?

    Could you list the video cards that those notebooks have and what games you want to play?

    The s580 has a nividia go 6400 and the w35 has ATI radeon x600 64MB

    Well, both are mid range cards, not the best, but considering the sizes of the notebooks, that's a given.

    So - about performance - I'd expect you to be able to play most games at SVGA 800x600, maybe XGA, depends on the game at medium settings or so.

    ahh okay, thank you. And as far as the games I would be looking to play: World of Warcraft (majority), counterstrike source, and possibly FEAR

    FEAR is going to be tough to handle, especially on a 64MB card. You'll be limited to the lowest settings with that little video memory.

    CS:S will run fine though, it doesn't require a high end video card. Same for WoW, should be easy to handle.
