    That's usually integrated in the system BIOS. Sager notebooks has this with Fn+1 keyboard combo.

    Answer is yes depending on laptop as HTWingNut said. You'll have to ask your laptop's vendor.

    I have manual fan control software, written specifically for MSI laptops (kudos to the author, Pherein), including GX660R. I can e-mail it to you, PM me if interested.
