Or can XP still run everything?

    I haven't bought a PC game since like...Civ 4 Colonization.

If you want to play DX11 games, then XP will not work for you.

Are there any exclusively DX11 games, though? I thought they all still supported 10.

Just Cause 2, Shattered Horizon and Stormrise.

Edit: Halo 2(Awful game) and one other I forget the name, it's that one that hobbled the PC controls so PC gamers wouldn't mop the floor with button mashers. They both require Vista, Halo 2 doesn't even use DX10 though.

xp doesnt support directx 10/11, but it can play the games using directx 9, meaning most modern games won't look as nice on xp

sc2 is directx 9, i think they might add dx10 features though

Darkness has pretty much nailed it, the most modern game I can think of is Just Cause 2.

While the Xbox 360 and PS3 still use DX9 you should be safe, once the new generation come along you might need to upgrade.
