Are there modders out there for Sins of a Solar Empire?

Are there any modders out there for Sins of a Solar Empire?

I have a hopefully simple request, that they can help with, that would support netbook users.

The game doesn't natively support any resolution less than 1024x768, mainly due to the main UI (2D interface). Once in game (enter 3D world), then everything seems to work fine.

My request to Stardock was basically answered with "it's too much work to redo the UI". Which IMHO is pure bull. It's just rearranging buttons on the screen.

Ok, fine, how about putting an option to display text in the upper right or left corner that states what button is highlighted so that I can at least tab through the options and know what I'm tabbing to.

    Thanks.

    Yes, on my N10J.

Once in game, the game plays fine at 1024x600, but when in the UI menus you lose mainly the lower buttons that allow you to navigate through the UI.

Here's what I'm referring to. The red box indicates all I can see in the 1024x600 resolution, and the yellow text in red box in upper right is what I am suggesting that if they could add an option, even if added in an .ini or something, so when you tabbed through the options, it would display what's highlighted. Kind of a simple workaround, and not real professional, but it'd get the job done.

Have you posted this request on the Stardock forum? I am sure somebody there could help out. They have a pretty solid modding community.
