    2 things:

First, does anyone else have problems with the Are 51 demo crashing?

Second, I can't get out of the first room, is this a really short demo or do I really suck?

No, I didn't have any problems with the demo crashing. The full version seems very stable as well.

Moving out of that first area: In the control room (behind the glass you start out facing), one of the panels has a small yellow circle on it. Walk up to that, center it in the crosshairs, and press the "use" key (default is "Tab" for some reason). This will open a door to the left from which a few Elites will come. Gun them down to move on.

It took me a few minutes to figure that out too. I eventually found it when I noticed the blue arrow/dot on the screen that points to your next objective. Just follow that.

Overall, I really enjoy the full version, although after your whole squad dies about halfway through, it gets a little less exciting, more just the standard Doom style "run and gun" shooter from then on. Still, good graphics, nice weapons, good variety of gameplay...definately worth the meager $30 price tag.
