I'm running the notebook 195.55 drivers with physx 9.09.0914 (I also tried 9.09.0930).

Phys X is enabled in the nVidia control panel, but if I turn it on in the Arkham Asylum settings it tells me I don't have a PhysX enabled card.

    Any ideas?

Have you updated the game to the latest version? I've read that it solves some physx problems.

Enabling PHysx will probably kill your frames...

I'm on 1.1 and physx does kill the framerate, but it also tells me I don't have the hardware for it. I can use physx in mirror's edge, it seems.

I had a problem with this and it was due to GFWL. Update GFWL and see if that helps. I actually couldn't update it through Batman I had to download the GFWL update separately and install it. Then I booted up Batman and it detected the upadted GFWL and I finally had PhysX options whereas I did not before. Not sure if that's really your problem but it was for me. Give it a try.

Watch out. PhysX will slaughter your frame rate without a dedicated PhysX PPU or SLi. I mean, if you want to keep your current resolution, texture quality setting, shadow quality settings, Ambient Occlusion being ON setting, etc... PhysX eats a ton of VRAM. You can probably find a perfect balance if you are patient enough.

My Games For Windows Live is up to date.

I'm using PhysX ok in some other games, so I want the option to try it out, I'm not set on having it enabled, but I'm annoyed that I can't enable it.
