    Arma 2 fps on xps m1530 8600gt?

    Hi,

    Is anyone running Arma 2 on an xps m1530? What fps are you getting; how does it run like overall?

    My specs are:

    4gb ram, t7500 @ stock (2.2), 8600mgt 256mb

    win vista 32.

    I'm not hopeful; I don't think it's going to be playable, even on the lowest settings (I'm never willing to drop from native rez.)

    P.S. Just had to have my mobo replaced because of the 8600 gpu problem. :rolleyes: Dell Korea service is excellent. They came the next day with the mobo and replaced it in my apt!

    Damn, but I expected as much. Anyone running it on the same rig (Obviously it's going to be even worse than it was on a 9600gt!)

    right now I have my desktop GTX 8800 and I run it at 30 fps + high settings perfectly fine

    I believe it was released in Europe on 23rd June, and America is due to be released on the 30th.
    European consumers will be able to get it and give you guys good impressions before you spend your cash, Im looking forward to those opinions

    Yea I'll make a video... and no the "english version isn't out yet... there is however an ENglish patch for the German version... I'm still going to buy then english one as it sounds really really wierd english lol.... I'll post soon

    Yeeeeasss... definitely a new benchmaker for the M17x... but anyway I have a single desktop GTX 8800 and it runs soo smoothly almost always even at near or maxed settings, the programming is fantastic, although I do believe they made some more changes to the US version, I was just using this one as a first look
