So I downloaded the Arma II demo off of Steam and the graphics are amazing. But it crashes after just a minute of play. I'm playing it on my Dell and I know it can run it smoothly. Is this a driver issue because it has happened like this on other games including Crysis and Fallout 3.

I have not even been able to fire a bullet in Arma II lol.

games amazing. i played on everything on the highest settings but after 1 hour of the demo i got a crash popup saying 'out of memory'. i only have 3gb ram. im hoping its a bug cause i am technically over their minimum requirement. o well ill wait till the price goes down to the below 40 bucks range to make my purchase

I believe it's an issue with the demo itself.

It randomly crashes for me too, along with everyone I know who tried to play it.

maybe its purposeful so to get you to buy the real thing. plus the demo has quite a lot of missions and is a working multiplayer. not too 'cheap' for a demo.

Oh ya during installation, or before rather, did you have to wait like 4 minutes befor ethe setup file loaded? I thought my computer crashed when I first downloaded the file. I press to install and it sits there doing nothing for 4-5 minutes before loading the installation screens.

i dont think a crashing demo is going to encourage people to buy the full product.

    thats totally backwards.

Full game is great so far, except there are some bugs. Full game seems rather stable.

The graphics were horrible on my machine. I dont understand why they make the graphics blurred when on low/med settings. Like full on photoshop type blurring.
