    I'm playing Farcry on my brand new (2 Days old) Inspiron at MAX settings and only the water is rendered full of artefacts.
    Please help ?

    Nopes, no overclock, stock dell drivers. Surprisingly only the water artefacts !!!

    Try swiching your drivers. Use the ones from laptopvideo2go and see what happens.

    I have heard of a simmilar problem that happened over in the Asus forum. I think all that was needed was a BIOS change. Be sure you have the latest BIOS version, and check with dell. What inspiron do you have?

    Same situation as you. Same notebook and videocard.
    Patched to Far Cry ver 1.31 and no more problems. Try that. It worked for me. :D

    Yes, be sure to install the patches - do them in order too - 1.3, 1.31, 1.32, and 1.33. Just google to find a download.

    1.33 encompasses 1.32... so you can save one download there. install -> 1.3 -> 1.31 -> 1.33 and you should be all set.
